Tony has managed to build an international team to help to promote the benefits of the iMist system and to protect everyone from the devastating effects of fire. What Tony loves most about the company is turning opportunities into reality.
 

Tony has been working in the fire suppression industry since October 2013 – with an impressive career that spans over 40 years and includes an employment history with companies such as Marks & Spencer and Kingspan, before creating the company iMist in 2015.

Alex
Pollard

Alex co-founded iMist with Tony in 2015, having completed several years in the industry designing mist systems for other companies. His career at iMist started by completing all tasks; from selling & designing the system, to installation and certification.

What he loves most about iMist is the people, both customers and staff. He believes once you understand someone’s personality, you can guide them and help them to grow, as well as grow the business. He likes to give people a voice, as he believes that every opinion and idea is a valid one.

Darren
Childs

Darren started at iMist in September 2021 as a Financial Controller based in Hull. His role involves the day-to-day management of all financial aspects of the Company, including conducting external credit checks where needed.

Prior to this, he was a Finance Director of a company that supplied parts to the construction industry.

Jon
Business Improvement Manager

Jon
Martin

Jon joined iMist in 2022 to help drive the productivity in the company as it grows.  He has solid experience running operations teams in estate agency as well as in eCommerce operations including complex project management and warehouse relocation.

Having spent time in banking, property and garden equipment, Jon is looking forward to helping shape a company that has a very noble cause!

Rachel
Pollard

Rachel started at iMist in 2018. To begin with, she was a servicing and certification coordinator before moving onto certification and quality – right up to fully taking over HSQ.

 

Rachel works hard to ensure iMist remains compliant with Health, Safety and Quality regulations by conducting internal audits for ISO:9001 as well as ongoing product testing for the R&D department, and office inspections.

Andrews

Tim has been working in the fire suppression industry since 1999 – with an impressive career that spans over 20 years. Tim has achieved an HND in Building Studies and a B.Sc. Honors Degree in Building Surveying.

Tim helps to promote the benefits of the iMist system across the globe and also improves work processes and training to ensure that iMist always delivers the most comprehensive experience for our clients.

Zak
Carey

Zak has been a huge part of the iMist team since 2016 and is now an Operations Manager for England & Wales.
 
He oversees ongoing projects for domestic and residential dwellings, as well as attends site meetings for larger property clients.

Stewart
Parkinson

Stewart joined iMist in 2018. Before, he was involved with the development of process control on multimillion-pound projects.

Since starting at iMist he has headed the automation division and has had a big influence within the R&D department. What he likes most about iMist is the diversity of the colleagues and the free reign to develop systems and processes. In particular with the ever-evolving IoT (Industry 4.0) and cloud platforms.

Katy
Galloway

Katy joined iMist in February 2020 with valuable coordination experience to work in the servicing department.

Preparing contracts, booking in maintenance, undertaking remedial works, and certifying projects and warranties are all part of her role. During her time, the department has grown significantly, and she has played a key part in this expansion.

Gail Godden
Key Accounts Manager

Gail
Godden

Gail joined iMist in July 2022 as Key Account Manager, bringing 23 years of experience in the fire safety system industry. Prior, Gail worked in distribution of electronic components and production equipment throughout the UK and internationally.

Her role as Key Account Manager is to ensure client satisfaction and excellent service levels are met from design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing servicing of the iMist watermist system.

Eddie
CPD manager

Eddie
Sibley

Eddie spent 10 years in London Fire Brigade working as a firefighter, including a period of temporary promotion to Crew Manager, before leaving in 2018 to join iMist. He attended major incidents such as Westminster Bridge and the Vauxhall helicopter crash, along with the usual day-to-day incidents which weren’t limited to just fires.

“I joined iMist after leaving the fire service and couldn’t be happier. My role allows me to work with people from across the construction industry. I genuinely believe that iMist represents the future of fire suppression.”

Arrie joined iMist in April 2022 as our HR/Administration Manager. Arrie looks after all our HR, administration and recruitment duties, as well as supporting Alex in general office management. She is currently studying for the CIPD.

Craig manages the manufacturing department and our factory in Hull, where he ensures that all assets and stock are ready to be delivered to our engineers.
