Background
The Chester Hotel, located on Queens Road in Aberdeen, is an impressive example of Gothic architecture dating back to 1675. As a Grade B listed building, it presented particular challenges for fire protection, with strict requirements to preserve both the structure and its decorative features.
Solution
This project, being a Grade B listed building, presented a potentially tricky installation. However, it was awarded to iMist™ because of the sympathetic installation and flexibility of the system. iMist™ were able to partly retrofit the fire suppression system without moving any existing structural or decorative elements.
Our system was chosen for its careful installation that respects the existing structure with minimal disturbance. If you’re looking for a similar fire safety solution, contact us or get a free quote online quickly and easily.
