Background

The Chester Hotel, located on Queens Road in Aberdeen, stands an amazing piece of historical, Gothic, architecture, dating back to 1675. This project, being a Grade B listed building, presented a potentially tricky installation. However, its was awarded to iMist™ due to the sympathetic installation and flexibility of the system. iMist™ were able to partly retrofit the fire suppression system – 32 nozzles – without moving any existing structural or decorative elements.

Solution

This project, being a Grade B listed building, presented a potentially tricky installation. However, it was awarded to iMist™ because of the sympathetic installation and flexibility of the system. iMist™ were able to partly retrofit the fire suppression system without moving any existing structural or decorative elements.

Our system was chosen for its careful installation that respects the existing structure with minimal disturbance.
